Fortunate Farm is an inter-generational family farm that provides heirloom vegetables and flowers to the community on the Mendocino Coast, located on 40 acres of coastal prairie in Caspar, Northern California.

In partnership with North Coast Brewing Co., located nearby in Fort Bragg, we produce rich mulch using spent grain and hops, and “beerigate” our pastures with beer and yeast as part of carbon farming program and rotational grazing plan. Much of the food grown at Fortunate Farm ends up on the plates of diners at the Brewery’s Tap Room in Fort Bragg. The farm also vend at the Fort Bragg farmers market and sell to local grocers and restaurants.
